Elk Rapids Early Bird Paddle

Grab your paddleboard, kayak or paddlecraft of choice and join Paddle Antrim and the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce for a morning paddle on the Elk River in celebration of Elk Rapids Harbor Days.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. at Rotary Park to unload your kayak, enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with fellow paddlers before the group launches at 10 a.m. Participants will paddle along the Elk River toward Spencer Bay, with time to view the historic Albatross shipwreck on the return trip.

Paddle Antrim encourages paddlers of all ages and all types of paddlecraft to participate in these relaxed and slow group paddles. The paddles last about one hour on the water, are free to attend and do not require preregistration.

All participants must bring their own watercraft, paddle and personal flotation device/lifejacket. As with all Paddle Antrim events, personal flotation devices must be worn properly at all times. All ages are welcome but children younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the water.
