Celebrate with Us!
Harbor Days is a four day community festival taking place in our quaint Northern Michigan town of Elk Rapids. The celebration highlights the best of Elk Rapids dynamic history, picturesque harbor and wonderful community. The Harbor Days Association Board of Directors, Executive Director Team and dedicated volunteers make this small town Americana festival a can’t miss event for your summer calendar!
Harbor Days kicks off on Wednesday night with the popular Evening on River Street. With the street closed, the downtown is transformed into a vibrant street fair offering a cornucopia of sights and sounds to satisfy your appetite for food, music and entertainment! The next three days offers events for every age and every interest. The schedule includes Kids Day games, athletic events, carnival rides, festival parade, musical entertainment and so much more. Others may choose to relax on our beautiful beaches and enjoy culinary delights to satisfy every palate. The celebration culminates on Saturday night with Zambelli International fireworks display over Elk Rapids glistening shoreline.
While Elk Rapids Harbor Days is managed by the Harbor Days Association Board of Directors, the festival champions numerous fundraising opportunities for local service organizations. The long standing, mutually beneficial relationships with these groups helps to maintain a robust schedule of events and provide good works for the community all year long. We are honored by the generous support of our sponsors which allows us to offer most events free of charge. Harbor Days would not be possible without these charitable contributions. With a plethora of people visiting Elk Rapids to partake in the festivities, Harbor Days offers unparalleled exposure for our businesses and community. We are proud of our town and our festival and invite you to join us for Harbor Days!
Future Harbor Days dates – 2016 August 3 to 6 – 2017 August 2 to 5 – 2018 August 1 to 4
